Join Us for Movement & Mindfulness on February 27, 2025
Freshwater Future staff welcomes you to join us for trauma-informed mindfulness and movement led by our practitioner Jonathan Relucio. Jonathan, a mindfulness expert with 20+ years of experience, will lead us through 45 minutes of practice tailored towards the wellness of water justice advocates like you. Take Action on Federal Changes Threatening Great Lakes Communities
As you know, rapid-fire changes at the federal level are cutting staff and rolling back regulations. We are committed to keeping you updated on how these decisions impact the people and waters of the Great Lakes – and provide key actions you can take to protect our region:
- Defend Lead in Drinking Water Protections: An effort is underway to repeal the recent improvements to reduce lead in drinking water. Please send a message urging your representative to reject the repeal!
- Prevent Cuts to the U.S. EPA Great Lakes and Restore Environmental Justice Office: The U.S. EPA’s Great Lakes office has been targeted for significant staff reductions. In addition, the Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights was abolished. Please send a strong message to your Great Lakes elected officials asking them to defend and prevent cuts to the U.S. EPA and work to restore the Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights.
