Get ready to recharge your batteries for 2023 and get personalized training to build your organization’s capacity! Each month, Freshwater Future will present customized online sessions designed to meet the unique needs of grassroot environmental and community group leaders who are ready to grow their organization and create the change they envision.
Starting and developing a non-profit or community group can be intimidating, confusing, and stressful. That’s why Freshwater Future has developed this interactive seminar series to help you lay the groundwork for successful organizational capacity-building.
You’ll learn the basics of leading, running, and growing a non-profit organization. Our seminars will cover core topics including strategic planning, finances, non-profit filings, effective communications, brand and online presence, and technology tools to help boost your productivity.
Throughout this 12-month series, you’ll be paired with a cohort so each of you can gain a deeper understanding through shared experiences. Each 90-minute session begins with time for meditative self-care and healing to help you manage stress. Then, we’ll transition into techniques and tips tailor-made to each participant’s specific organizational needs.
For over 25 years, Freshwater Future staff have been working with grassroots groups just like you. These seminars have been developed by our staff experts who uniquely understand your needs. We’ll walk you through capacity-building steps, techniques and tips, and pitfalls to avoid. Whether you’ve been leading the charge for years or are just starting to make waves with your organization, we are here to help achieve your goals!
