Grant Cycle Deadline Approaching

The 2001 Request for Proposals is now available online at www.glhabitat.org, or request a hard copy by calling Jill at (231)347-1181. Any grassroots initiative working to protect aquatic habitats in the Great Lakes Basin is eligible to apply for funding, with grants ranging from $500 to $3,500. Assistance in completing the application is available by calling your local Network Hub, see back cover for the Network Hub near you.

The mission of the Great Lakes Aquatic Habitat Network and Fund is to empower citizens to take action at the community level to protect and restore wetlands, shorelines, rivers, lakes, and other aquatic habitats throughout the Great Lakes Basin. The Network and Fund provide consultation and financial resources, share information, and foster communication between citizens and organizations working to protect aquatic habitats.
