Improving communication by grassroots organizations is essential to effective advocacy for the protection of Great Lakes Basin rivers, lakes and wetlands. In order to enhance the ability of your organization to communicate your messages at the local level and beyond, the Great Lakes Aquatic Habitat Network and Fund (GLAHNF) has teamed up with the Biodiversity Project to offer, *free of charge*, The Great Lakes Connecting Communities Toolbox.
This professionally developed resource will offer a broad array of tools to assist your organization in communicating messages for positive environmental change, locally and across the Great Lakes Basin. Your organization will benefit from the innovative content provided in the Toolbox including press release templates, tips for strategic message development and delivery, targeted regional media contact lists, tips for citizen involvement, public opinion data on the Great Lakes, professionally-developed messages based on this polling data and much more.
To reserve your FREE toolbox, please visit www.glhabitat.org and click on the “Connecting Communities Toolbox” link. Please complete the application and email it to Marci at email@example.com. Your application will help us speak about the value of this offering with our funders. *Supplies are limited and CD-ROM’s will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There are a limited number of Connecting Communities flyers available for your distribution. Please e-mail Marci at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to receive flyers for use in your communication efforts.
