A New Addition to the Freshwater Future team

A New Addition to the Freshwater Future team

In our last issue we introduced you to Wendy Cooper, who did an excellent job strategically increasing Freshwater Future’s services in Canada. We congratulate and thank her as she moves to a new position.

Picking up right where Wendy left off is April Weppler. In her 11 years as a conservation professional, April has had a variety of work experiences ranging from Stewardship Coordinator roles with the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre and Ontario Nature, to a project manager in the Conservation Land department of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. She also served two terms on the board of the Ontario Land Trust Alliance, where she held the positions of Secretary, Vice-Chair, Chair, and pastChair. April holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from University of Guelph, specializing in Wildlife Biology. Living in Guelph, Ontario, April and her family enjoy hiking, paddling, and generally exploring the outdoors. Welcome April!
